July 2009: Busy month - started with a visit from Baba and Bobo, then Barrie and company came to town for a week of vacation. Everyone had a lot of fun with Legoland and the Beach. Wrapped up the week with a trip to the zoo.

June 2009: Finally got the girls in for more professional pictures, Claire talked us into getting her a set of clubs, and then she helped paint the guest room after installing fan.

May 2009: Started the month in Beaverton with a mini reunion. Claire really loved feeding the fish at Linda and Duane's and Ryan just giggled a lot.

April 2009: Pretty quiet month, except for Dave's birthday dinner. While babysitting, Grky painted Claire's nails (fingers and toes), so now she needs to have them regularly serviced.

March 2009: Claire's fourth birthday was the big event. As expected, she received a big haul. I would never have expected her to be into electric guitars. Not sure how I feel about my daughter being a rocker chick.

February 2009: Claire and Donna went to the zoo for a quick visit, and we discovered that Claire likes guitars while at a party at a friend's house.

January 2009: After recovering from the holidays, the girls got to hang out with mommy and the ponies.

December 2008: Claire got her first official school pictures, and appeared in her first school show (she was a snowflake). Then it was all about Christmas. It was quite the party with Baba and Bobo in town. As expected, the girls made out like bandits. At least the horse doesn't need much clean up.

November 2008: A fairly quiet month, capped off with a trip to Palm Desert for Thanksgiving.

October 2008: Ryan had a good time with her first haircut. We also got some professional pictures taken of the family. Then it was Ryan's first birthday with a trip to the zoo, and the messy cake. The month wrapped up with Claire being a unicorn on Halloween.

September 2008: A busy month. Greaky & Papa took Claire to the beach, Baba and Bobo came for a visit (and some golf was squeezed in), Claire went to her first major birthday party event (for her friend Emily), and Dave and Donna took an anniversary trip to Napa Valley
